Full-Time Positions

As a member of the curatorial team, the Curatorial Assistant will assist in all areas of responsibility including acquisitions, exhibitions, cataloging, and research of The Corning Museum of Glass collections. Collaborates with staff from departments across the Museum, including the Rakow Research Library, Collections Management, Education & Interpretation, Publications, Marketing/Communications, Digital Media, Advancement and other departments as needed.
The Steuben Sales/Marketing Support Associate supports the Steuben business by providing exceptional customer service through answering inquiries and entering telephone and email orders. Provides telephone coverage for Steuben orders during extended holiday hours, including evenings and weekends.  Delivers dedicated service to wholesale accounts, providing order support and general assistance with product and brand related information.
The Preparator assists the Collections Management staff in maintaining galleries and exhibitions, and in the installation, moving, packing, shipping and care of the Museum’s collections.
The Corning Museum of Glass seeks an experienced and innovative library professional as the Chief Librarian. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the Museum’s renowned Rakow Research Library, a well-resourced institution open to the public that houses a comprehensive collection of materials on the art and history of glass and glassmaking.

Temporary Positions

The Corning Museum of Glass is seeking a talented, entry-level designer to work on a wide variety of design and graphics projects for multiple internal clients. The ideal candidate will have an interest in a modern, minimalistic design aesthetic, and a passion to learn and immerse in the CMoG brand.

Seasonal and Part-Time Positions

During our peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), we add a number of seasonal workers in front-line positions such as Sales Associates in the Museum Shops, Guest Services Associates at the admissions desk and throughout the Museum as well as in the Make Your Own Glass workshop at The Studio. These are temporary positions. Glassblowers and Flameworkers

Do you want to spend your summer in a creative environment? The Make Your Own Glass Workshop of The Corning Museum of Glass offers glassblowers and flameworkers employment during our peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day). We look for individuals to assist visitors blow glass ornaments, pull flowers at the furnace, or make glass beads.
